It all depends on whether it is a permanent bridge or a removal .
The teeth on the sides that it is gripping will need to be prepped. for a permanent bridge

I hope that you don't mind giving you a tip . try not to get a permanent one if possible. I had one and when the bridge breaks or cracks that's it for the other two teeth that its holding on too.
Ask as many questions about the bridge as possible before you agree to have to work done. ask if there are other ways to have a bridge besides it being permanent
I lost 4 teeth in all because the bridge broke. The worst is that they don't tell you that when its being done.
I could still have some teeth on my left side had I only asked questions. Please for your own peace of mind as how long it will last ... Usually the permanent Bridges last only for 10-15 years. Try and find another way to fill in the gap.

Don't be like me and feel sorry after the fact Ask lots of questions.

Probably takes a while because they have to make sure the two supporting teeth for the bridge are in good shape. If not, they'll have to reinforce the two teeth and then put the bridge in..

When you get a bridge, if anything goes wrong with the bridge it will also affect the two other teeth that are associated with it.

Implants are probably the best way to go (expensive though). That way you leave the rest of your teeth alone.

Good Luck

It depends, usually one week or two unless several modifications are needed.
