We are all sinners. Yet in context, the statement is said by a Pharisee and they are talking bad about Jesus. The Bible say s if we have iniquity in our heart God won't listen to our prayers. We need all to live a life of Repentance and obey Jesus Christ the rest of our days.

These verses in the bible states that he who lives in perpetual sin shall not be given grace or healing. Just like if someone did you wrong, you aren't going to be too quick to talk to them let alone help them out are you. God is the same way.

However, it is the sinner that God loves (i.e. parents still love their children when they take the wrong path) and wants to help - but God does not intervene as he has given us free will. Once we pray to him, ask him for help, turn away from sinning and accept Jesus as God's only son and our savior, will God shed blessings on us.

As a Christian and a human being, I try real hard to stay away from sin, but there are times I fall, but I always keep a relationship going with God and Jesus through prayer and bible study and ask forgiveness. Once we have brought the Lord into our life, he isn't going to walk away from us at all.

John 9: 31 is about what makes an act something that comes from God. In other words, if Jesus cured a blind man, so that he may be a renewal of faith for others, is that not a sign from God, whether or not it follows the teachings of someone else (in this case, Moses.)

In other words, God does not reside only in the past, but in the present and future as well. Those who look only to the past, but ignore the present, are 'blind', irregardless of how well they can 'see'.

The man who seperates others from God, by calling them sinners, is a sinner himself. He, who sees not the goodness in others, cannot see the goodness in himself. Such 'sin' is the speck in one's eye Jesus meant for us to take out. When we proceed from a point of seeing the good in others, so will the 'speck' in our eye be gone, and so will our actions be able to 'remove' the speck from others.

Adam and Eve brought sin into the world when they disobeyed God and believed the devil. God said unbelievers are dead in sin and bound for hell. That is why God sent His Son Jesus Christ as our Savior to take away the sins of the world. Animal blood was used for pardoning sin until God sent Jesus to pardon sin once and for all time. To receive this pardon and eternal life with Jesus all we need to do is believe in Jesus Christ.

If you don't have a relationship with Jesus Christ you are dead in sin. To quote Scripture, "the prayers of a righteous man availeth much." God will hear a sinners prayer if the prayer is asking God to come into his heart, but if you are praying for something ungodly and praying without Jesus, He is not answering your prayer without He shows exceptional mercy to you. And I serve a very merciful God that knows the hearts of men and women.

John 9:31 says, "We know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is God-fearing and does His will, He hears him."

We are all sinners, according to Rom 3:23. However, Jesus said no one comes to the Father but through me. The only way to glorify the Father is through faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Faith also implies a respectful fear and reverence of God. Even Prov. 1 tells us that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.

Faith in Christ does several other things for the believer: (1) it justifies you before God, for God accepts Christ's suffering and death for what we deserve, (2) it saves us for eternity as children of God, inheriting the kingdom of heaven, and (3) Jesus sends the Holy Spirit to indwell every believer.

This is critical, for the Holy Spirit ministers to us, begins the transformation of us from within to be more Christ-like, comforts us, helps us, and intercedes for us with the Father. This means that the not only does God hear our petitions, but also those made on our behalf by the Holy Spirit! Hence, before God the Father, the sins of the believer are forgiven. The believer through the Holy Spirit may pray and speak to God...similarly, God will reveal His will to the believer.

Unfaithful sinners do not have this Intercessor, they have no standing before God. God does not hear them, and will judge them according to their deeds, rather than the grace of Jesus. They will ultimately be found wanting, and thrown to their second death in the lake of fire (Rev. 20, 21).

Clearly, you can see how sin (our iniquities) seperates us from God, who once walked with Adam in the garden before sin entered the world.

I think that goes into another verse where it says, "Seek ye first the kingdom." It brings 'Peace' between the sinner and God. For, the Lord is our peace. Jesus is the 'Prince of Peace.' The pressure is relieved between people and God IF the at one ment is obtained. I would direct you to the words 'propitiation' and 'expiation'.

I agree- because of sin God cannot look on us- however because of His love for us- He sent His son into the world to die for us- He paid the price that we could never pay- so that He will hear us- God does hear the prayer of a repentant heart however.

Yes, absolutely. There is a great chasm that separates man from God; but Christ is the bridge over that chasm.
God says that if we turn from our sins and repent, then He will listen to us.

Right, but Jesus separates us from the sin. He takes the sin for us and erases it, just making us children of God, not sinners.

The Bible also says that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.
I think that God hears at least one prayer from the sinner and that is the prayer of acceptance of Jesus... and even the prayer of I believe, help my unbelief.
