SO that kids will fight over who gets the orange ones... ( or adults, lol)

When Smarties were introduced in 1937 they came in four flavours (including coffee, yuk!!). In 1958 these flavours were reduced to just milk chocolate and by popular demand - orange (the flavour almost everyone likes).

No-one wants to buy chocolate if they're not 100% happy with the flavours offered!
