My ex of 6 months broke up with me about a month ago. I didn't find out though until later tonight that it was because she felt bored to me, and didn't feel happy to me. The truth is that I'm a really shy guy and she was the first girl that I've ever loved. I felt really shy and didn't know how to act around her or how to treat her and it ended up in a lot of akward silences so I can understand why she feels bored to me. Now she's with another guy, one that she says she feels happy with. She doesn't really understand why I'm so shy to her and I'm so confused. I don't want any move on answers but some solid advice on what to do to get her back and help her understand why I'm so shy to her.

Unfortunately, John, if there's one thing girls despise more than insecurity it's a guy that doesn't know how to "act". They like strong, secure, sure-of-themselves guys that know exactly what they want and are willing to explain in great detail just how much and what they are willing to do to get it!
Besides, if YOU don't know who YOU are, how is she supposed to love "YOU"?

Ok. You're not "bored to" someone. You're bored by them. You're not happy "to" someone, you're happy "with" someone. And you're not shy "to" a person, you're "with" or "around" them. PLEASE learn how to write English properly. Here's the thing, she is with this guy and says she is happy. Why don't you call her up and ask her to meet you for coffee or a drink? Tell her it's just as friends. When you see her, tell her exactly what you've said here - that you like her so much but you're shy. Maybe she'll be willing to give you another chance, maybe not. Finally, just be more freaking confident. She was with you for a reason, so no need to worry about how to act.

If your girfriend broke up with you because she felt that she was not getting anywhere, then maybe that is what she felt and did not think that she could handle it anymore. If she has not said anything about coming back and talking and trying to renew the relationship then there is a chance that she is not coming back to you and you probably need to accept it. She is happy in her current relationship don't do anything to break that up, or you will have more problems then you need.

Explain to her how you feel about her, how she makes you feel. Open up. If she doesn't know why you are so shy then maybe telling her would help her to understand. And if she was your girlfriend you should have been comfortable around her. Loosen up.

Dude - she is with someone else now - she has moved on, so it's time for you to move on. Sorry. . . stop calling her because soon enough she will be forced to put a restraining order on you. If she does eventually get rid of her new guy, you may have a chance, but really, just get someone else.

First use the word's ""with me"" not "to me".
All that awkward silences , tells me you didn't have all that much in common.
Sorry to say babe their is a big differences between being boring and being shy.
I would not try to get her back till , I got out of some of my shyness first, remember that's way she left.

I wish you luck.
