what is the recipe for the chili sauce that goes with kebabs from takeawys?

in the uk (the north east) if you order a takeaway kebab etc you can either have garlic or chili has anyone any idea how they make the chili its definatly got tomatoes in chilies obviously what else the recipes i found did not have tomatoes in any ideas thanks in advance
