1 drink, bottle of beer, glass of wine, shot = 1hr.
each additional drink consumed in that same hour = 1 additional hr.
This is the legal rule for driving a car.
To totally clear your system approximately one additional hour per drink.
If you drank 6 drinks in the past 2 hours you will be totally clear in 12 to 14 hours (rule for some pilots) depending on your body size, the larger you are the faster it will clear.

It's different for everybody, so be careful one day my buddy left a party the next morning after 8 hours of sleep and not drinking. He was pulled over on his way home. The cop said he could smell alcohol on him, and he gave him a breathalyzer test and he blew a .10 just .02 over the legal limit and he was charged with a DUI.

The liver metabolises alcohol at a rate of about 12mL/hour, which works out to about 75 minutes per standard drink of 15mL alcohol. This applies to all people - it is a function of the liver, and not of your body size.

Eight Heneiken beer will take approximately 12 hours to filter out of your system completely. Nine will take about 13.5 hours.
