I'm in Northern Indiana, and need to get a pet crate for my parents...they are adopting a miniature schnauzer this weekend, and the crate does not come with it. Where is the least expensive place to find a crate for them? Thanks in advance for your help!

Walmart has wire crate if you plan on crating them in the house and I just saw some inexpensive crate with liners in Target medium size for under 40.00, Walmart has better prices though. Big Lots has them occasionally that a inexpensive too.

I have found tons of crates on Craigslist.org - if you're not familiar with it, just look on that site for the Craigslist for your city. Small crates are pretty easy to find. When you get the crate, here are some sites to look at so that you can properly introduce your pup to his crate:

Check your newspaper like the other guy said first, also look in the bargain finder if you have one. Those are your best bets, before going out and buying a new one. Some pet stores sell the sctach and dent ones, ones that have been returned. Call around to a couple diff ones and compare prices at the same time. Hope this helps.

you could get an inexpensive vari-kennel at wal-mart for now since it's a small breed. but at the pet supply store where i work, our x-large crates for the giant breeds are only 80.00. we have small ones for 30.00. which is cheaper than most vari-kennels. is there a pet smart or pet co near you? crates aren't as much as you would think.

Crates are expensive. Try looking in the local newspaper or online news for a resale.
Also- try Craigslist.org

They also have a wonderful line of pet products, including crates, at Target stores. Maybe you have one in your area?

Usually you can just go to Ptco or Petsmart and they should have it there. At least that's were I got mine. And they're not that expensive. Just about thirty bucks would do.
