i found out the longer you sut there and feel bad about yourself, the longer your gonna feel depressed. You wonder why nibidy cares, why nobody wants to be around you. The reason why nobody wants to be around you is because YOU ARE DEPRESSED. you bring them down when you come around. You git ti get up and fight your through it. The minute you get up and change your attitude about what's going on, the other stuff starts to change. whatever is kicking you and trying to push you down, i say kick it back. The first thing you got to do is open uo the curtains, put on some good music, take a shower, put on a good face, and open up the door and go out and see the world.Your sitting around hoping someine will fix it but, it's got to be fixed through you. You can't say "please, god help me." God is not gonnaa do anything if only try and help yourself to.Don't hold things back. Say it.Deal with that emotion... I wish you the best of luck

Yes, you are depressed, and I am concerned this could get worse without help. There are no tips or tricks or advice from friends or family for a way out. A lot of us have been in your shoes by not feeling loved, suffered with confusion and worse yet glued to the bed. When we sought the help of a psychiatrist and became a patient patient , we got our life back.

I had similar symptoms few years back, which my GP diagnosed as depression. I went for a session of counselling, which didn't help at all. But the help came from somewhere i least expected: the sun. My friend gave me his book of runes (stones with symbols, which you pick up randomly from the bag), and look up in the book for the meaning of the rune you have picked up. You have a right to be sceptical, i understand, as it borders with mystisism. The rune I picked up symbolised the sun, and everything it represents. It had the lines:
'You who have the power to illuminate the Earth, illuminate my soul also so that it can do more good.'
I started going to the parks during the day to absorb the sun. I lie on the grass and felt that the rays of the sun were going straight to my heart. I felt all my anger, anxiety, misery and sadness were melting away and being replaced by harmony and quiet contentment. The book of runes gives you spiritual guidance, the one you need at the moments of despair.
Runes are only one example of spirituality, but you can try different forms of looking into yourself, within yourself, as meditation, yoga etc. Don't look for the external help: everything you need is within yourself, you just need to find ways to bring out your own power.

Name it before you can get out of it. You must talk about it in a deep way to 'know' how to get out. No one has ever said, they are in a 'rut' and found a way out. One of the ways out is to speak it out what's bugging you. Meds simply suppresses the symptoms. The underlying psychological factors are still there. Sorry, there are no tricks to real life issues. I've dealt with them. You need to 'dredge' stuff up yourself as only you know what's underneath.

It sounds like you may have depression, but you should talk to your doctor and tell him/her the way you've been feeling-they will be able to recommend a counsler where you would be able to find more help. Medication isn't always the answer but it might help. Don't put this off see a doctor!

Have you lost the interest in doing things that you have enjoyed as well? If so, the only trick is to see a doctor (your family doctor will refer you to a psychiatrist). You cannot 'snap out of it.'

Exercise is one thing you can do. 30 minutes a day for 3 weeks has been clinically proven to help depression as equally as anti-depressant medications.

definitely depression. i had the same symptoms and was diagnosed as clinically depressed. some alternative treatments do work.....reiki is great. so is exercise. but i have to tell you, sometimes only medication can help you from sinking further into it to the point where you want to hurt yourself. please, please see a doc. it's not your fault, it's a chemical imbalance in the brain that is very common. good luck to you.
