he broke up with me two month ago from a two year relationship his reason was we grew apart, we agreed to ring each other last night and he kept ringing me but not saying anything, then he rang an was talking to me, we are hanging on saturday with a group of people mostly lads, there is a lad who fancies me an is always touching me i told my ex about it an my ex just went really quiet an i had to say his name to get him to talk this will be the first time we have hung together and he knows that the lad who fancies me will be flirting will this make him jealous another thing he still wears the ring i bought him, does he still like me, do you think he will ask me back out do you think there could be a good chance on saturday, how will i know if he likes me on sat he said he is totally over me is he please help

Sounds like he is confused if you ask me, why is he still ringing you or wearing the ring you bought him if hes not over you, maybe he got scared of commitment and needed to reassure himself you are the one for him, no point trying to make him jealous though because if you do want him back flirting with other guys in front of him isn't going to help at all, hope you can both sort things out between you and maybe sit down together and have a really good heart to heart to see if there is any future together, good luck.

Well it seems that your relationship is over and he told that it was over and why and it was because you and him were growing apart. The chances of him asking you out again or slim to none but it is really up to him what he decides to do. Moving on with your life might be a good idea and you can see what is really out there. You have options just like he does. The thing is that you want to get back with him thinking that this is all a joke but it seems that he has made himself clear about what he wants so you have to accept and wish him the best of luck.

I am not sure where you are coming from or what you are trying to accomplish. Are you trying to make your old boy friend jealous by telling him that this other guy likes you and touches you? If he is over you, he might as a favor for old times sake tell the other guy to back off because he thinks you don't want this guy touching you. If you want to be without either of them this is the way to go. Sometimes when you try to pit one against the other, you lose both of them.

If a guy tells you he is over you it is high time to start looking around for someone else!
If he really likes you he should be asking you out and telling you he wants to be with you.
You are too good to hang about while he makes up his mind about whether or no he should go out with you. Let him do that in his own time and take the risk that another guy sweeps you off your feet while he is thinking it over.
