The Bible says somewhere that the only way to speak to God is through the son. You don't need to pray to the saints, they can't do anything for you. Pray to God and ask him to heal your grandmother. Also, God has a special purpose for you and your grandmother, and you might not like the outcome. God's answer isn't always "yes, I'll heal her", but that doesn't mean he doesn't love you or her. Try to seek God's will, and not your own. Hopefully, your grandmother will get better. Try to get others to pray for her. I'll pray for her, I've been praying for a few people on here already anyway. God bless.

I'm a terrible Catholic, so I've forgotten. I have a feeling Mary is one to pray to.
Point is that no matter who you pray to, no matter what saint or even religion, the act of praying is what makes the difference! :)
Here's a pray I found for the sick and seniors....
All praise and glory are yours,
Lord our God.
For you have called us to serve you and one another in
love.
Bless our sick today so that they may bear their illness
in union with Jesus' sufferings and restore them quickly
to health.
Bless those who have grown old in your service
and give them courage and strength in their faith.
Lead us all to eternal glory.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Your Son, who lives and reigns with you
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Amen.
Mother of Perpetual Help pray for us.
Three Hail Marys.
I hope your grandmother gets well soon. All the best to you and your family! :)

Go directly to God- Jesus is the mediator between God and us. We are all saints saved by grace- No one is to bow to any one except God- when we pray to a patron saint we are praying to a human being- If Christ is your savior you do not have to go through anyone- I will pray directly to God through Jesus- that your grandmother will be healed- and give you peace in the midst of it all. GOd bless you- Remember we are to pray only through Jesus- no human- no matter how good they may have been-

Dear young grand-daughter,
Even the apostle Peter and the angels refused to have people kneel down to them, not even Jesus as he said that only his Father in the heavens was worthy of our worship. Praying is worshiping and the Creator of all things, has never given that privilege away to anyone else, as it belongs to Him and Him alone. He brings that up dozens of times in His inspired book, the Bible. Nothing that resembles anything on the earth, in the sky or in the water. No one, nothing else will do...
It would therefore be a terrible mistake on your part to pray to anyone but God, your heavenly Father who alone sees and hears everything. He alone is worthy of all prayers and He alone is the One you must address your prayers to, always in the name of His son, our King and redeemer Christ Jesus. After you have poured your little heart to Him in prayer, in spirit (not out-loud) then listen to the advise He'll sent your way. I'm sure that you have heard this before: "God works in mysterious ways." That means that you will consider the words of a person who's learned a lot about life who's telling you that there is not a thing under the sun that will replace at least 8 good glasses of water every day, not just for your grand-ma but for you as well. That would be considered putting action behind the prayer, which always pleases God to see us applying works behind our faith. You could look up for serious information about whatever ailed your grandma, her eating habits, etc. Aside from drinking the water, did she try cutting the sugar right off of her diet? If she needs to sweeten anything, there is a natural powder called "stevia" that won't hurt even diabetics, which she can take in tiny quantity as it is very very sweet. It comes in a white powder and you really only need a tiny bit or else the sweetness would be over-powering. You could also gently massage her feet and her back and all of these little things could greatly contribute to setting her sub-conscious in gear to fight the disease and get better sooner than later. When we have faith in God and His promises, death itself is no longer the enemy it once was as Jesus showed the power invested in him by his Father to bring back or resurrect the dead. So by all means, pray and do all you can for her and rest assured that no matter what, all things are possible with a God who can bring people back to life so that it's never the end for long. I pray our heavenly father will touch your heart to want to open his book so that He can draw closer to you as you draw closer to Him. Take care!

I am sorry to hear that she is sick. However, perhaps practical help is the best in this case.
