Being a caregiver is an important and noble role, but one that can be emotionally difficult. You must take care of yourself as well. It might be helpful to reach out to others in your position so you can discuss your thoughts and feelings with those experiencing the same thing. Check out the following discussion board which enables both cancer patients and their loved ones to discuss treatment-related questions and concerns... http://cancer.health.ivillage.com/registration/login.cfm. In addition, if you want more information on cancer, including basic facts, news items, and explanatory videos, feel free to visit http://cancer.health.ivillage.com/cancerbasics/.

Good luck!!

Call your National Cancer Society. The name will depend on where you are. They have all sorts of lists.
If it is difficult to find ask the social work office at your local hospital.
