Your best bet is to pick numbers that noone else will think of, so if they do come up you'll be less likely to have to share the pot. So 1,2,3,4,5,6 isn't as good as 34,56,45,44,53,51. Anything under a 30 is bad because it might be a date; lots of people use dates when they pick their numbers.
