If the earth is 2 billion y.o.the people would have been 2x2x2x2x2x2.....x2 billion.
God made Adam and Eve ,2 or 3, or 4 days after making the Earth. So the earth was made in one day..not in billion year.

What?????

OK, there was a major collision with another basically planet sized object about 4 billion years ago or so and that did make it grow, but a big chunk of that material is the Moon. It nowhere near doubled.

So you are making an assumption. The belief is the earth may have grown, read

This is a theory and is not generally accepted. Very few reputable scientists currently believe it. There is much more to be done, so don't go jumping to conclusions.

To the guy that said the universe is not that old:
Do you believe that the universe is infinitely large?
Do you believe that stars exist?
Do you believe that light takes time to travel?
Then explain how that light from stars that are billions of light years away from us had time to reach us, if the universe is not that old? God sped up light for a while to trick us?

Holy **** Maurice, are you ******* kidding?

I believe its an analogy, there's no real way to prove or disprove it, just like God, hence it is in the "religion" section, not a "science" section since it is about his opinion and belief, not the facts which dispute it.
Good question, nice statement.
