Prayer is the most powerful weapon a Christian has. Why is it that we don't practice it more often?

Many Christians today have forgotten what the word 'method' is. We are afraid of the word. We don't choose a specific time of day to be our 'prayer time,' instead we claim to be super spiritual and say, "I pray all day." Although I do not believe that we need to have specific times a day that we should pray (like Islam), I do think that it is beneficial to choose a time to do devotions and build a routine around it to help us stay consistent.

I would like to claim that prayer (and Bible reading) is my steering wheel.

I'm not a Christian, but I do pray. I just like the way you phrased that question! :) Very creative. By the way, why are you assuming that Christians aren't praying as often "as they should be"? There's no set time limit or anything...just curious.

Prayer is the act of asking an unproven omniscient, omnibenevolent, omnipotent entity to help you with problems he should already know about in ways he should already want to using effort that costs him nothing
