Makes me value my relationship with God even more. Makes me feel like their aggression and anger comes from their lack of Him.

This DOES NOT apply to all non-believers... so if you don't do this, I'm not referring to you!

Ive been told that 'they' were going to kill me.

I stand firm on my beliefs but I never name call or am rude when expressing my beliefs... yet, Ive been told this countless times...

I can only speak to my situation... I'm sure that there are many "Believers", claiming to love God, who are just as ignorant as they are!

The nonbilivers make comments scare u and when u go through this kind of persecution dont be scared at all becaz god will give his heavenly joy and peace to u. Like see the life of paul he was stone to death, but god was with him.And the nonbelivers make comments becaz they dont want to leave that old nature and life. But remember the one who hate u dont hate them but love as much as lord loved u.So through u they can see how god love them.

I really try not to but.....

I was raised christian until high school and started asking questions that no one could answer and I got labeled everything from a troublemaker to a Satanist for asking questions about the bible. I was not being a smart a** I had honest questions and got no answers so I went elsewhere and found the answers myself.

there is much more detail than that but you get the point.

I am not intolerant I just don’t understand how you can believe something that makes no sense just because its in the bible.

Nor do I understand why a lot (but not all) Christians feel the need to shove their religion down everyone else’s throat.

Violent comments are nothing compared to the vast amount of murders that have been made in the name of christianity that have taken place over thousands of years. The killing of innocent people who simply did not follow the christian faith.

Perhaps there would be less hostility if christians would get off their pedestals & stop preaching to everyone how their religion is the only one, and all non-believers are wrong and are all going to hell.

Hmmm....personally I have not seen any violent comments. From most non-believers I've seen well thought out, reasoned and witty answers. But anyone who can't reply to a question calmly and without resorting to threats is probably of below average intelligence, unable to control their emotions and not worth listening to anyway.

Probably for the same reason that some believers start talking about how we're all going to hell if we don't believe. Because we all stand firm in our beliefs.

What are you referring to exactly? BTW I've seen believers make some pretty violent comments on here, even more scary if you ask me since they're supposed to be God-fearing.

Non-believers are people also and some will make negative comments (like some Christians will). We are all just human. It does help me also value my relationship with God more too. And in the end, forgive them and pray for them and you will be even more blessed! Count the negative comments as blessings!!

Likewise, a lot of believers answer with hostility when we non-believers mention evolution. Guess there are some bad sheep in every camp.

I believe that its not the person but the devil working through them...
Thats why they make violent comments.. Its meant to scare . thats the whole point.. To shake up your convictions . JESUS said these things would happen to us... If you faulter and allow someone to shake your foundation that does not believe , then you risk a chance of falling for good.. Stand strong and firm .. Be kind but firm... Do not worry about what comes out of the mouths of un-believers ... Worry what comes out of yours...
And when your faith is tested .... STAND STRONG AND TALL....NEVER WAIVER ....
AND IN THE END GOD WILL SAY " WELL DONE GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT "
What more could we ask for .... I want to hear those words soooo much ...

I hope this helped you .. I know your question was meant for non-believers and I believe but i felt the need to talk to you ..

probably for the very same reason the religious make violent comments when a non believer mentions evolution.
