No puppy should be weaned at 2 weeks! If you need to use milk replacement, get something formulated specifically for puppies (i.e. Esbilac) and follow the directions to the letter.

If you're having trouble with a nursing puppy, please contact your vet. You need more help than you can get here.

A 2 week old puppy will not survive without either milk from their mother or a commercial puppy formula(Hartz, Esiblac, etc.) Puppy formula(milk replacer) contains over 30 % protein and 40% fat.

Regular milk from the store does not contain even close to those amounts and will not supply a puppy with its needs. It can cause diarrhea and eventually death.
Also, bottle fed puppies have a higher risk of developing pneumonia.

The best thing to do is leave the puppy with its mother.. unless there is a reason that you can't.(the mother died, or doesn't have enough milk, or too many puppies) At which point you should contact your vet for assistance and more info on bottle feeding with puppy milk replacer.
If you do have to bottle feed, you will need to feed the pup every 2 hours until they reach 21 days, then every 3 hours until they are weaned. You will also have to stimulate them to pee and poop before every feeding.

Good Luck!

There are several different puppy formulas available, that you can you to feed the little one. You'll have to feed it on an eye dropper first, then as it gets bigger a bottle. It will need to eat
at least once an hour for the first four weeks, after that every two hours for 2 more weeks, then every 3 hours for another 2 weeks. At eight weeks old you can start weaning it off the bottle onto regular puppy food and water from a dish.
Your vet or your local pet store will be able to help you locate the right puppy formula.
Bottle feeding puppies is time consuming. You don't get a lot of sleep. Just like you don't with human babies, at first.
But, it is worth it. The puppy is already well adjusted to humans and is easier to train because it associates you as its mother.
I prefer to bottle feed pups I intend to keep for show or breeding purposes because they bond closely to me and are so much easier to train.

Puppies are usually weaned in a gradual process by their mother - and aren't totally weaned until 6 weeks. If your dog isn't producing enough milk, you need to get puppy formula from your vet as well as instructions about how and how often to feed puppies this young.

NO! A 2 week old pup needs it's mother milk and only it's mother's milk. You should not take a pup that young away from it's mother either. It will need her to keep it clean and to feed it. You can't use people milk to feed a pup that young either, it will die. dogs and pups cant digest cow's milk and will only cause them to get the runs and then they will dehydrate and die.

Do not thake this pup away from it's mother at this young of an age!!! Pups at the very youngest should stay with their mom's until they are 7 to 8 weeks of age.

Yes you can use the milk replacer but if the mother dog hasn't died or isn't sick why would you do this? The puppy will be tramatized (momma too) and puppies shouldn't be taken from their mother until 8 weeks of age. The puppy will have a much better chance of being strong and healthy if he gets his mothers milk not milk from a can.

Certainly not! If the mother won't feed it, call the vet.
