i alwayz think of making a change in my life.......i do bad in exams and then get serious but that lasts for just a day or two...........how can i bring a permanent change

You need self discipline and to stay focused when working on making positive changes in your life. . Only you have the ability to make that change. Successful people are not that much different from people who have the same dreams and desires, but who just talk about it. The only thing that is different from being successful and not being successful, is "action". People who are able to bring positive change in their life get there by doing what it takes to get there. Years go by quickly. Use the time you have by being productive in accomplishing your dreams. Otherwise, one day you are gonna find that time has past you by. Best of luck to you!

A key to making long lasting changes is really believing in the reasons for making the changes. Ask yourself what you will get out of long term change, what will you get if you don't make those changes. Write this conversation out or tape it. If you have some way of reminding yourself daily of the reasons for change, (notes on the mirror, screensaver monitor, message on mp3 player, etc.) then go ahead and do so or you are likely to forget. Accomplishing something difficult takes the 3 Ds: Desire, Discipline, and Dedication! Keep working on all three. It is a lifelong process.

A key thing to remember is that you should not get down on yourself when you take a step backward. Just acknowledge that it is a step backward, recommit to moving forward, and take another step in that direction.

Really dude, your immature. You are the only person who can truly change permanently. NO matter what people tell you, your still going to do what you want. If you really wanted to change you would have gotten some strong will and made it happen. Change is hard work. Be willing.

That is something you have to find within your self. Set a goal and stick to it. You have to ask yourself what kind of person you want to be. Make the change, set a study schedule and stick to it, no matter what else is going on. Respect yourself enough to know what you need to do. You will be fine.
