I suggest you see an ENT (ear nose throat). I've never heard of a hole in the tonsils and the doc. would be able to diagnose this and treat it. Best wishes to you.

Know the asteroid wellhead tonsil stones them for many years and it's been title not eventually.

Best decision I've ever made! I was shocked by the way of getting out the stones out. It was so easy, but more importantly, painless. I really liked the little trick he had for preventing gag reflex. He have one happy customer here.

holes in tonsils are caused by previous infections to the tonsils. You most likely had an abscess there and when it burst it left the cavity. You should go get a blood screening to see if you don't have staphylococcus antibodies in you, which would explain the cavities. If you do you must recieve antibiotic treatment since if left untretaed it might damage your heart.

You might want to go to a dr. if it doesn't get feeling better. I can tell you that on my right tonsil there is a hole too. Food doesn't get caught in mine but little white balls come out of there sometimes (and they stink!). They usually only come out when I am sick. I smoke too, that might have something to do with it. If I notice that there is a little ball that needs to come out, (this is gross) I open up a paper clip and get it out myself with a magnified mirror. But if you try that, be careful! Like I said, you could go to a dr., but I think it's normal.
