A Tom Collins (great drink by the way, and generally the drink I'll use to determine if a bar knows how to make cocktails properly) is made with gin.
The Tom Collins is only the most famous member of the Collins family. Some other common ones are the Ron Collins, made with rum; a Sandy Collins, made with scotch; and a Jose Collins, made with tequila, amongst others.

Thank you friends... It gave me some intoxication after reading the cocktail Tom Collins. All seem to be experts.
I heard that cocktail gives more "kick" than normal ones.
However let us enjoy it remembering the statutory warning:
"Drinking is Injurious to Health". Sharing a joke with you:
Alcohall is the number one enemy of man... and the Bible says "Love your Enemy"!.
