There is a prophetic statement told by prophet Muhammed where he tells his companions about a man who rode a COW and spanked her to move, the COW then spoke to the man and told him that she was not created for riding!
The statement tells that when his companions should "some" surprise that a COW can speak, he told them that he believed the story and they should believe it too.
Is it possible that a cow can speak?

Numbers 22:28 is a scripture that you can check out for yourself as you realize and believe that with God all things are possible. Even she-asses can speak... And if certain people on the earth today didn't open their mouths to speak, it is written that the rocks themselves would speak...
Nevertheless when it comes to any man's sayings or any other book's (other than the Bible) whatever it is that they might say or not say is so totally irrelevant that it is a veritable waste of time to even bother. Think about it... God said that the Bible was the only divinely inspired book and warned anyone not to add, take away, change etc. a word of that book, that this was His word. Why would you break your head about another. You'd be better off to do the research of the real origins of the stuff you talk about and when you discover just how full of man-made lies it really was and why, you'd drop it as though you were holding a fiery hot potato in the palm of your hand.

This is a miracle of the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and this happened also in other animals like wolf
according to the sunnah of the prophet
[ Narrated Abu Huraira:
I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "While a shepherd was amongst his sheep, a wolf attacked them and took away one sheep. When the shepherd chased the wolf, the wolf turned towards him and said, 'Who will be its guard on the day of wild animals when nobody except I will be its shepherd. And while a man was driving a cow with a load on it, it turned towards him and spoke to him saying, 'I have not been created for this purpose, but for ploughing." The people said, "Glorified be Allah." The Prophet said, "But I believe in it and so does Abu Bakr end 'Umar." ]

Not speaking literally like human. Maybe thru telepathy. King Solomon(pbuh) who was also a prophet, could speak to all animals an insects. He also have the jinns under his commands.
If god can give Jesus the power to heal and bring the dead to live, anything is possible for the prophets if god willing.

Why not? There is a talking serpent in the bible. There is reference to talking trees in the bible (Judges 9:8-15). There is even a talking donkey (Numbers 22:28-30)
