I believe in creation.
1. If humans evolved from monkeys or apes, then why are there still monkeys and apes.
2. The sun is shrinking and always has been. It's a star and it will burn out one day. If evolution is to be believed then there wouldn't have even been an Earth a million years ago because the sun would have been so big, it would have been in it's place and no other planet could have had sustainable life.
3. Evolutionists use a cyclical theory to explain the age of some things. For example, sometimes you will hear them say things like, "This fossel is 3 million years old." How do you know? "Because the rock stratus it came from is 3 million years old". How do you know the rock is 3 million years old? "Because the fossel is 3 million years old"
4. Scientists cannot agree or decide where life all began. Every group has a different idea and a different theory.
5. Last but not least, I'd rather consider myself a beautiful creation and not the kin to a monkey.
I saw something funny on The Colbert Report recently. He had a guest talking about keeping creationism out of the classroom. He was asked by Mr. Colbert why creationism couldn't be taught along with evolution in the classroom. The man stated that "it would be too simple. What do you tell the kids? God created the Earth. There, simple as that. You can't do that in a science class."
1 Corinthians 1:27, "But God has used the foolish things of this world to confound the wise..."

First of all, there is no such thing as "evolutionism". Someone you listen to made up that word. It is called "evolution".
Second, the vast MAJORITY of people who believe in God also believe in evolution because it is a scientific fact. The only people who think it has been proven false are fundamentalist Christians like yourself. But even within the Christian religion, there are well known scientists who supported evolution. Genesis only says that God created the universe it does not explain HOW it was done.
Evolution gives the most accurate description of HOW. It does not seek to disprove whether or not there is a God. So it is of no threat to your belief system whatsover.
Now, to address your points one by one.
1. The bible does not mention evolution at all.
Darling, the bible does not mention lazer surgery, gravity theory, space travel, contraception and a million different things we have discovered in the last 2000 years. Does it invalidate those things too? If you believe you can only believe, trust, use, practice ONLY what the bible mentions, then why are you using a computer? The bible does not mention computer science. Obviously it is false right?
2. You are not an accident. Believing that life changes and adapts (which is what evolution is) does not mean there isn't an Intelligent Force behind it all.
3. I am happy you are contented in your faith. Ironically, Faith is very subjective and very personal. What works for one person in one religion does not work for another. That is why people are constantly switching beliefs as their go on their spiritual quest.
4. Every bit of scientific proof for evolution has been PROVEN false? By whom? Where? When? I'm afraid it is ONLY within you little evangelical christian world, this has happened. In the worldwide scientific community, no such thing has happened. If it did, you would see it on EVERY respected science board, publication, committee worldwide. You need to take a look outside your insulated little world.
5. Well enjoy yourself in heaven then and best of luck to you!

1. The Bible doesn't mention evolution at all.
It doesn't mention nuclear physics either, but the people of Nagasaki and Hiroshima are pretty convinced that it's true.
2. I couldn't live my life very happily thinking that I was an accident with no reason for being here.
I couldn't live my life happily thinking that I am supposed to eat broccoli for a healthy body. Please pass the twinkies.
3. Christianity just makes more sense in the long run to me. Evolution is a theory, not proven fact.
Actually, the idea that germs cause disease is not a proven fact either. It is still known as "Germ theory." Thats' just the way science works. Science adapts to new knowledge. That's why it makes more sense to me.
4. Every bit of "scientific proof" for evolution has been proven false or inconclusive.
Actually, this is not true. Outside of mainstream science - the people who are to science what Warren Jeffs is to religion - make this claim, but no one with a shred of understanding listens to them.
5. I am truly happy as a Christian and I know that I'm going to heaven after I die.
I am truly happy as an agnostic and look forward to learning the truth when I die. I either won't be and will therefore not know the difference, or I will learn the existence of a God. How cool would that be? To actually KNOW there's a God?

1.) The Bible is a great source for morals, not science.
2.) Evolution says nothing about the purpose of life, only that it is changing.
3.) Evolution is a theory and a fact. Look it up.
4.) It's been "proven" false by pseudoscientists with a desparate desire to prove Creationism true. The scientific community pays them little attention.
5.) You can be a Christian (a happy one) and still accept evolution as true.
EDIT: Vestigial organs have not been disproven. Given one guess without a source as to why whale's have a certain bone structure is not proof. We can discuss if you'd like...elevensixone@yahoo.com

I believe in evolution because:
1. Fossils
2. Moths
3. Earlobes
4. Natural selection
5. Vestigal Limbs.
To counter your points
1. The bible doesn't mention bacteria, molds, or germs either--does that mean they don't exist and all disease is either demonic possession or divine punishment, like the Bible does say?
2.Evolution is not about accidents or chance.
3. For the umpteenth time, find out what "theory" means before you repeat this nonsense yet again
4. Simply not true.
5. Completely irrelevant to the question of evolution.
Have a nice day.
edit:
Sorry, but vestigial organs have NOT been proven false. All that has happened is that creationists have started using a literal but misleading definition of vestigial as a straw-man argument. Vestigial does NOT mean unnecessary or useless. The fact that a whale needs those bones to reproduce does not prove that they were not legs at one time. The fact that the human appendix is important to our immune system does not prove that it is not vestigial. And so on and so on. Many vestigial organs have vital functions to perform--that doesn't make them any less vestigial.

2. I couldn't live my life very happily thinking that I was inbred.
3. Creation just makes no sense in the long run to me. Creation is a theory, not proven fact.
4. There is scientific proof for evolution, and none for creation.
5. I am truly happy as an Atheist and I know that I'm living my life to the fullest extent

I choose to rely in educated people for my information and beliefs. If I need someone to fix my car, I go to a mechanic who understands cars, not a preacher.
I believe in evolution because it is accepted by almost every respected scientist in the world. It doesn't matter what I feel like, the truth is always dictated by the knowledgable.
The bible was written by uneducated fishermen, and prophets from 4000 years ago. I know it feels good to think someone is controlling all of this. But the fact is that religions vary and so do religious beliefs.
1. The bible doesn't mention evolution because it was written by men who thought that stoning people was an acceptable punishment for fooling around. They had no clue about science or gravity or the fact that the earth revolves around the sun.
2. You are in charge of creating a reason for your own existence. If you live your life going to church and never really helping others then your reason for living is not valuable. But if you choose to use your life for the benefit of others then there is a cascading amount of value and reason for your existence.
3. There is so much more evidence that points to evolution than you are aware of. If you spend an hour this morning looking up things in Wikipedia, you will find that you have been lied to. Lying is wrong in the evangelical faith, but it persists at the pulpit, when you are told about evolution.
4. That point is a pure fabrication. Please research for yourself, so that you can grow in knowledge and not be led around by lies and falsehood.
5. I am happy that you are happy, if Christianity is the only way that you can find that happiness, then hold on to it. But please understand that there are many happy Atheists, Agnostics, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists etc......
Christianity is definitely not a prerequisite for happiness.

1. The Bible doesn't mention nuclear fission or fusion, chemical reactions, neutron stars, bacteria, space travel, heart surgery, the fact that the sun doesn't orbit the earth, it says just the opposite, television, or even bicycles, so what's your point? 2. An example of wishful thinking, not rational weighing of evidence. 3. Evolution is no longer considered a theory, but proven fact. 4. Every bit of scientific proof of evolution has NOT been proven false. 5. I'm too rational to delude myself with wishful thinking.

I believe in both.
I believe a Higher Power/God(dess) Energy (What ever you wish to call it) created the Big Bang and evolution.
The scientific theory (a bit different than just "theory") of evolution has been proven, and I believe in science. However, I also believe that there had to have been something to make it all happen. I believe there's a Higher Power out there that's so big it's impossible to put it into one religion or belief structure.
Then again, I'm a bit of an agnostic, too. It wouldn't bother me one way or the other if the theory of a Higher Power was debunked completely.
Dogma is a wolf in sheep's clothing.

There is not a single slightest bit of evidence for the existence of a god.
If a god does exist which one is it? There are currently more than 2800 of them. So what if Marduk is real he is not going to be very happy with all of you false god worshipers. Not to mention Odin, or Zeus.
Why is it christians always demand "proof" when they have no idea what proof is?
In science, unlike in common usage, a successful “theory” is an overarching explanation that accounts for all known facts, hypotheses, and observations.
It is a fact, supported by millions of observations over at least 150 years that life has evolved on this planet. This fact of evolution did not have a scientifically satisfactory overarching explanation—a theory—until Charles Darwin developed his complex ideas. His explanation rapidly convinced the scientific minds of his own age and of every generation since then.
No scientifically supported theory of why life on this planet evolved rivals basic Darwinian theory. If there were a legitimate alternative, scientists would go to great lengths to win prestige by testing and developing the alternative
And about your bible….
Where is your proof that it is real? A world-wide flood? The earth only 6000 years old?
Yeah right.
