It sounds like you are very paranoid, and if this is having a serious effect on your life then you must see your GP asap. Your dr will be able to help, not necessarily with medication but perhaps through counselling or relaxation techniques. Regardless of how they help, they will know who to refer you to to help you get your life on track. Just because you're paranoid doesnt mean you are schizophrenic but explain your worries to your dr and they will 100% be able to help!
All the best!

p.s when i was a teenager i was very paranoid,i'm sure many of your friends sometimes feel how you do. If you want to chat please feel free to email me, i suffered with depression for many years so know sorta wot ur going through.

Don't Panic.

You're not going mad. The harder you try to stop any thought the harder it'll stick -- because it's you who is thinking it. Let me demonstrate:

Don't think of an elephant.

There, you couldn't help it. Trying not to think about stuff is completely self-defeating. It's impossible. So the first step is to stop trying, you're only making it worse.

Feeling disconnected is not unusual, particularly for a teenager, it's not easy.

I had some pretty weird stuff going on when I was a teenager, I am now 48, happily married with kids, good job (I'm a writer) etc etc.

Practical suggestions: Do you eat good food, or rubbish? If you eat primarily from the four major food groups (you know: TV, Junk, Microwave and Fast) then you need to start eating real food. Fresh fruit and vegetables, because a lack of vits and good digestion can do weird things. (Most people are deficient in vitamins -- the "Recommended Daily Allowance" should be the "Absolute Minimum Daily Allowance").

Get involved in activities outside the home, join a drama group, build up a network of people you know.

About the masturbation, there's nothing intrinsically wrong with it, the problem is the kind of thoughts you might be conjuring up in the process.

I recommend not getting into weird stuff, it's as addictive as drugs. Basically you want "sensation", after a while a certain level of sexual sensation wears out, so you need something new and different, so you go for something weirder, but that wears out, so you go further... etc. Not a good road.

Paranoia can be linked to depression/anxiety, feelings of guilt etc. contact your doctor for reassurance, perhaps the more you worry, the worse you'll feel
