As a child I ate a ton of carrots and I didn't have glasses later when everyone else did! So eat well, be careful about too much time on the computer, watching TV, any close up kind of work where eyes can become strained. Have your eyes checked soon and ask the optometrist the same question.
And then cross your fingers and hope you've got the right genes.

To keep supervision that you already have, always protect the eyes from the sun by wearing UVB sunglasses and eat beta carotene. If you don't have super vision to begin with you could try laser surgery I guess.

Use telescopes or binoculars...and more!(Just kidding!) You must protect your eyes. Keep your eyes relax after 15-30 mins or 1 hr of work. Don't stress your eyes too much!
