I hear that Marine basic training is as easy as a nerf obstable course, is that true?? People say it's hard but I think it looks like a picnic

Go to boot camp and then come back here and lets see what kind of question you will post.
If you really think that it is that easy...then you wouldn't mind going to boot camp in South Carolina in the middle of summer.

Marine Recruits go through boot camp at one of two places, either MCRD-Parris Island, SC, or MCRD-San Diego, CA. Males who live east of the Mississippi River go to Parris Island. Males who live west of the Mississippi River go to San Diego. ALL females go to Parris Island. There are exceptions to this, such as, if a family member became a Marine in San Diego and you would normally go to Parris Island (because of where you live) you can ask to go through boot at Parris Island, as well, in order to graduate on the same parade deck as your relative. I think there are some other exceptions and your recruiter will know that information... By the way, the word Marine is always capitalized. Always. And, Marines don't attend "Basic Training," they go through Boot Camp.

Your out of your mind! Marine Corps Boot Camp is the toughest out of all the services. Physically, mentally, and emotionally. Trust me, I have brothers in the other services and they all admit to it being easier in their service than the Corps.
3 months of Hell, but it's all worth it.

You talk the talk, do you walk the walk? I doubt it.
Every day for about 11 weeks we lost at least one in my platoon. Injury mostly, some freak outs.

well when i joined back in 70s the DIs would beat the snot out of you,, they dont do that anymore,, its a kinder gentler marine corps
