There are many different lotteries.
For example in Canadian Lotto 6-49. (Choosing 6 numbers out of 49) there are almost 14 million ways (13,983,816) of choosing 6 different numbers out of 49. Since only one combination wins the top prize the odds are about 1 in 14 million.

It depends on the lotto. There are many of them and they vary from a few hundred thousand to one, to well over 150 million to one. But wherever you live, the odds are, you are never going to win it.

With 1 lottery ticket = about 14 million to 1.
With 2 lottery tickets = about 7 million to 1.
With 4 lottery tickets = about 3.5 million to 1.
