I need very much detail on vernal pools, i know basicially what they are

I don't know where you live but you can get information from the Bureau of Land Management, National Park System, National Forest....any sort of agency in your area will have an education department more than happy to give you local information. I think your teacher would really like that!
I lived in S. Oregon and we had vernal pools that had endemic organisms!
