Cut it in half, then half again. Cut each of the quarter sections either into thirds or halves depending on how mant slices you want.

I don't know if the local grocery store or dollar store will have one of these...but there is a lil thing that you can place on top of cakes & pies to make a slight indentation to follow for cutting.
If ya can't find one...always start in the center...make a cut straight down the center and then slice down the rest of the cake...so you have a "radius" cut in your circle cake...make another "radius" cut so that you have a quarter size & three-quarter size...now you can cut the quarter piece in half or thirds...depending on how big you want. Make another quarter piece and do the same thing...keeping doing so until you are done!

BEST OF LUCK!!

Buy a cake slicer. Well it is a guide and you have to do the slocing. They have them for cakes and pies that are round and for cakes that are rectangle. Probably more but I don't know.

I saw them on the net not long ago and do not remember the site but I bet you an find it.

I use a ruler and unflavored dental floss ... or a guitar wire.
