He does show himself in the world, it's just some people don't recognize it. God is there when people give others a helping hand. God blesses people.

For example, my parents tried to get custody of my cousin's two children but faced struggle thanks to social services wanting the children to stay with the foster mom . After a long fight, the judge ruled that the children stay with the foster mom... BUT my parents get to see them on a regular basis, forever.

Even though the foster mom adopted the kids, the biological family stills gets to maintain a relationship with these kids (not just my parents, but my uncle and aunt, their grandparents, get to see them too sometimes). A ruling like that is a God thing... something unexpected yet wonderful for the situation.

Or, maybe He wishes to draw all peoples to Himself. If you took freewill out of the equation, God I'm sure wouldv'e ended it when Adam and Eve dropped the ball.
Instead of trying to figure out God, try just going with the flow. He's God, and we are not.

He did show Him self....He sent His son Jesus to the world.

He could end suffering but then where would be the free will? He does tell His children to help people but unfortunately not all of them listen. We are called to be Jesus with-skin-on.

He doesn't enjoy suffering and misery....He helps us when we call on Him....it's not making our problems disappear but being there with us through them.

God wants us to have free will....do you really want to be a puppet....He doesnt either....people bring misery through their choices...(ya know...a man reaps what he sows)....Faith is the cornerstone to the relationship with him.....and suffering is only negative in the eyes of man....we cant conceive the mind of God so it does us no good to try and figure Him out....He doesnt let those who belong to Him suffer....and if they do suffer...he provides comfort and peace....it teaches us to depend completely on Him...

GOD will reveal Himself to you through the Holy Spirit. Besides, the Holy Spirit is also one of the God Head, He is also God.

We are privileged to be living in the new covenant. During the time of Moses, the glory of GOD was so great, Moses dare not see Him face to face. In fact, there were a lot of biblical verses that said that they fell face down when coming near the glory of GOD.

He did show himself to the world and the world did not believe.

God does not enjoy the misery but he did give us free will to make our own decisions. We choose to be miserable.

A common, "logical" atheist question, to which there is the usual answer of "He shouldn't have to" or something to that effect.

Saying "There is no God" is all fine and dandy, but you really shoot yourself in the foot when someone asks you where YOU think the Universe came from.

This question is really dependant on what you believe.

I personally believe that the religious books of the world describe in poem and song and verse what physicists like to describe in numbers and equations.

God already IS showing Himself to us all.
Every day.
You're just not opening your eyes, my friend.

Its said in the scriptures that the angels of the Lord do their respective jobs in precisely the same way that the laws pf physics govern our universe. For every part of a natural act, an angel of God is in control and see's his job through in precision.

It is also said in the scriptures that "From God we came, and to Him we will eventually return", just like how we are build from the smallest of matter into what we are, and when we die we become the smallest matter again.

Jesus tells Mary in her Gospel that:
"All that is born, all that is created, all the elements of nature are interwoven and united with eachother. All that is composed shall be decomposed; everything will return to its roots; matter returns to the origins of matter."

Science tells you the origin of matter is the Big Bang.
Well its not, that matter came from somewhere, the scripture tells you that somewhere is God. But, it is also said in the scriptures that:
"From God we came, and to Him we will eventually return"

Which means that we didn't just come from God, we are a part of God.

Everything you see, smell, taste and touch is part of God.
And when you consider the virtual infinity of the Universe, you begin to understand.
You understand how it is that "God always knows what you do", or how "God knows what you think" or how "God knows" in general.

You then begin to understand the parallels between the "singularity" of science, and the "One" of religion.

And it should be known to you, that the scripture doesn't simply describe in colourful language the Universe we now claim to know so well, because Science also describes to us the Nature of God.

Here endith the lesson.

men creates the miseries around us.God didn't put guns in our hands, man did that. God didn't put politics,we did. so don't blame Him for our own faults.besides,if ur a skeptic about a man who walks on water, what would u think if someone says he's our creator?we might as well crucify him for that..

He does not enjoy the misery of people, and if He were to show himself to the entire world every one would not need faith to believe in HIm. If he remains unseed until the rapture, he knows who truly believes in Him and follows Him by faith.
