I had my gall bladder removed over a year and a half ago. I seem to be seeing bile when I go the the bathroom. Is this possible?? Has anyone else have this problem???

Is this when you pass urine or (more likely) when you use your bowels?

The removal of your gall bladder does not alter the rate of bile production (it is produced in the liver and was merely stored in the gall bladder).

For bile to enter your urine, a fistula would have to develop between the biliary tree and the kidney - very unlikely.

Bile usually does enter your intestines and is passed out with your faeces.

I'm not any expert on this, but I know of a diet that may help you it will cleans all of your organs from toxins. I was diagnosed with syrosis of the liver and the doctor said it was permanant. Well I tried this diet once a month for a 6 months and the doctor was amazed that my blood test came back as haveing a normal functioning liver. It made me lose weight and feel about 5 years youger. The diet is on this website posted below.

Removal of the gallbladder can impede the digestion of certain foods, lettuce, greasy foods, etc. Contact your Dr who did the surgery for a follow-up appt.

Sometimes when they take out your gallbladder they don't remove the bile duct (which is so stupid) then you have to go back & have that taken out. It happened to me & my Aunt.
