If you had a trapped nerve in your back you would hardly be able to move for the pain....it's something else and I would have it checked out soon

Sounds quite likely that you have a "pinched" nerve and you should seek medical attention as soon as possible. Nerve pain can be excrutiating but there are treatments. In my case I had a fibroid tumor on the back of my uterus pinching a nerve in my lower back - it took months to diagnose and the pain was unbearable and it shot down my leg. It went on long enough that I totally lost the use of my leg - after going from doctor to doctor I finally ended up in OB/GYN, they did a CT Scan and found the tumor. I had to have an emergency hysterectomy and for about a week after the surgery I couldn't understand why I was still experiencing the pain - well, it takes a while for the inflammation to go away around the nerve and sure enough after about 10 days the pain was gone. This isn't something to sit around and wonder about - go see your physician so you can have the necessary tests done to try and isolate excactly where and what's causing the nerve damage. Good luck.

Get to a good chiropractor & he will x-ray you first & give you an adjustment. I go all of the time & he keeps my neck feeling great !
