i call him regularly but he only contacts me after i do so.he says he is busy with exams.

Honesty, yes. Your giving him alot of attention and im sure its clear that you are interested. So back off now. After a couple of days he will come crawling back if he is interested. He will wonder what happened and how come you have not called. Make him earn every bit of your time.

God how I hate to quote this but I think it is valid and I have just recently learned to take heed to this advice but it appears that "he's just not that into you". I was reading about this book and some articles about it yesterday because I had met someone the other night and although he text me and seemed interested in me after the night we met, I got one text after that and it was only a reply to something I wrote to him and then nothing. I mean if someone is really into you, they are going to find a way to get a hold of you. Like the article I read about that quote and the book that goes along with it, the author says that "I'm busy" is one of the lamest and most used excuses and that in our day in age where we have text messaging, cell phones, internet, etc. no one can be that busy to make one little effort to say hello or show that they are interested in care. The book goes onto to say that you shouldn't look at this as a big deal of rejection or be too hurt because the fact is that you deserve better then to be pining away over some guy who isn't showing you the time of day and that you should use this to just move on and focus your energy elsewhere until a guy who does fall head over heels for you comes around. This was my lesson yesterday and instead of texting him or making excuses as to why he might not have gotten back to me I erased his number and have moved on and I think it might be the best strategy for you too. Below you will find two websites dealing with this book and the basis behind it that helped me out yesterday and I hope that it will give you the knowledge and understanding that you deserve better and that he's just not worth it. Your wasting more money than time. Phone calls cost money, and you call him regularly. If your sitting around waiting then your wasting time too.
Can't you take a hint. My g-d some of these questions, are all the same. I'm sick and tired of them. No wonder the men behave like they do. It is because all you do is think does "HE" like me.?????????

call him, and ask when exams are over. when he answers, then tell him that you would like to meet up, (a day after exams) to go to luch/movie/dinner.... something. if he says he cant, then i would say move on.
but i would give him the one last change, and call him. maybe he really is busy with exams.

He isn't interested and probably doesn't wanna hurty your feelings by telling you so. If he really wanted to call, he would never be too busy doing something else. Move on

Yes. Sounds like you gave him some time to deal with what he needs to do. IF he isn't going to make at least a little effort than forget about him.

maybe its best you move on, if you've made it clear and he doesn't contact you, and says hes busy then i think hes trying to tell you hes not interested. if you stop calling he might wonder what happened and call you, and if he doesn't call then its better you move on.

He doesn't seem that interested.
Just stop calling him. If he wants to be with you, he'll come around. However, do not waste your time while he "figures it out."
