Start exercising and start eating healthy. Park your car far away when shopping, take the stairs instead of the elevator. Join an all woman's gym. They are at the gym to get healthy, just like you. Stop eating at a certain time each day. i.e. No food after 8pm. You could buy a workout DVD and sweat off the pounds without an audience. Go for a nice long walk outside.

Something I find motivational and inspirational are the shared journal entries on Oprah's website. Create your own journal and track your progress and mood. After reading shared journal entries, many times this has inspired me to go to the gym at lunch time when I wasn't really planning on going.

Reading health books are good too. Dr. Phil's Weight Loss Solution, Oprah's weight loss books, Bob Greene's books. Even if you don't follow the plans, they are very motivational.

Diet and exercise are really the only sure ways to lose weight long-term and in a healthy way. Start by doing the little things, like parking farther away, taking the stairs, etc.

I really like Turbo Jam dvds for cardio. Otherwise, just try to do AT LEAST a half hour walk a day.

If you eat out, get something healthy, like grilled chicken or fish and once you get it, CUT IT IN HALF IMMEDIATELY. Restaurant portions are TOO big. As soon as food comes, I ask for a to-go box before the plate hits the table. Watch your portions at home. When you eat stuff, take a look at what the serving size is. Measure and weigh your food. Sounds like a pain, I know, but it's the way to make sure you're eating well.

Best of luck!! :-)

Got to www.thedietician.com There are several tools there to help you identify where you are where you want to go and how to get there. Use the calorie tool to determine how many calories a day you should eat to lose a pound a week. Then eat balanced meals as much as possible. Equal parts protein and Carbohydrates(whenever possible eat lean protein, Turkey, Chicken). You can eat what you want but you need to count it and stick to the number. If the number is not working for you(I mean you are going nuts for food) then increase it by 200 calories. There are awesome yet relatively healthy bars out there made by Snickers(Marathin Protien Caramel Nut Rush and Marathon MultiGrain Crunch). They taste good and a balanced. Buy them at Wal-Mart in the box where they come in packs of 6. In most Walmarts this means less than a $1 a bar. Then weigh yourself each week and mark your progress. If you stop loosing then decrease the number of calories eaten and increase your exercise. You must exercise. Best way? Get a gym membership and do 30min on the Elliptical, if you can't join a gym then you need to but a heart monitor(I recommend the Polar F11). You need to exercise the right way, you need to achieve and hold your target heart rate for the longest period of time. There are tons of websites out there for determining your target rate but if you get the monitor it will determine it in a more accurate way. If you can join a gym you still want to hit your target rate but most machines have monitors built in. Also you want to lift weight. No your not going to bulk up but you do want to add some muscle mass as a pound of muscle takes up less space than a pound of fat and muscle is made from fat(and water). Take it slow, low weights until you get your feet wet then work all the muscle groups you can, build your body evenly. Plus muscle burns more calories even when you are at rest. Good LUCK! Feel free to contact me I have lots of ideas for balancing your meals.

Exercise regularly, especially more situp, leg rising and breathing exercise. Eat less fried food and drink less soft drink (contain too much sugar). Don't over eat and have a balance diet.
