I lost all of my pdf files. How do I recover them?

I recently updated my adobe reader from the 7 to the 8 and when I did that I lost my pdf files and all of my email bodies are blank. I am really stumped!

Upgrading from 7 to 8 should not have "deleted" your PDF files. It might have removed them from the "recent" files listing.

From the Start menu do a search for All Folders and Files. Search for "*.pdf". That should bring up a list of all your PDF files. Once you see what directory they are in, you sould be able to go into Reader and open them (or double click them from the Search listing).

I have no clue how Reader 8 would cause your e-mail to be blank....
