I work for and Buick dealer(among other brands) and I can tell you that the Ranier is the hardest to get from GM. They produce plent of Envoys and Trailblazers, even the Izuzu Accender, but not as many of the Raniers. Consequently the Ranier holds its value better for resale.
Excellent choice.

My dealership sells several pre-owned Rainers. They are great vehicles. The problem is that the Trailblazer and Envoy consume the assembly line, There is also a Saab 9-7x variant of this vehicle.

It is not selling very well because the vehicle (same platform used by Chevy, etc) hs gotten poor reviews in the automotive press, and because it gets poor gas mileage.
