I just bought a floorplan for my new tent. Does the floorplan go inside or outide the tent. In otherwords, should i put the floorplan down first on the ground, then the tent on top. Or should i put the tent down first, and then put the floorplan inside of the tent.

thanks

It's called a footprint, and it should go underneath your tent. It's to help keep your tent newer, longer by sparing it from rocks and things. If you bought it specifically for your tent, it will be the perfect size, and your tent poles should snap right into the corners of it to hold it down.

You must be talking about a ground sheet, and if your then it goes underneath the tent.Allow up 4 to 6 inches smaller than the tent bottom all around so that rain wont flow off the tent unto the ground sheet and form a pool or pools under your tent.Note you may have to do some folding to get size desired.
