I've been with my boyfriend for about a 1 year and 6 months
i love him but every time i kiss him or i look into his eyes
he reminds me of my ex. everyone says he looks alot like my ex. but why does this happen to me i dont want to kiss him
and thinking he looks alot like my ex. also things we do
reminds me of my ex. i start remembering like for example the place we went to. i know what you are thinking that i still love my ex. i dont iam sure, i had a really strong relationship with him but , i know now i dont love him at all. what do i do? should i tell him

i don't mean i think about him in a way that i miss him or i wish my he was my boyfriend. i mean he physcally looks like my boyfriend alot . I didnt pick him because he looked like my ex

No, don't tell him, what purpose would that serve? We all have memories whether good or bad about past relationships. Maybe your ex had a few good qualities and you see some of those qualities in your current boyfriend. Nothing wrong with that. Your boyfriend is a totally different person. Once you see him this way you will begin to see the things that make him different from your ex. Seems you are only comparing the familiar traits instead of seeing the unfamiliar traits, which I know are many.

If you keep thinkg about your ex-boyfriend, then there is something you need to think about. See, you might be thinking about your ex, not because you still love him, but because you do not love the guy you are with. Also, there might just be part of you thats longing for the "what if." So I say, take a break. be single for a little bit, and listen to your heart. Get to know yourself, and your needs. Things will all come together in time.

If u truly love him just be honest. Tell him how much trouble u are havin gettin rid of reminders of your ex. U are supposed to be able to totally confide in a real boyfriend u know.
Ask him to help u to forget the ex. If he loves u he will like it that u trust him enough to tell these things. And he might even change his looks maybe to not remind u of the ex so much and stuff like that.

Why would you tell him? You say you truly no longer love or want your ex...what do you think the first words out of your boyfriend's mouth are going to be if you tell him?
If you are being honest and want nothing to do with your ex, there is no point in saying anything at all. Unless you like drama.

DON'T tell your current boyfriend he reminds you of an old flame.
Nothing good will come from that.
Perhaps you are still living in the past. Try to get over it. It obviously didn't work out with you two and now you are with someone new. :)

ur still haunted by ur past relationship with ur ex. am sure that is not the only ex you have. so why does your bf keep reminding you of that particular one if really ur over him?
