What fuel keeps hell burning? Eventually, even the biggest cheesy-poof eatin' infidel burns up, so surely it's not just us. Is it fossil fuel based? I can't see hell being particularly environmentally friendly, so I guess wind energy, hydrogen fuel cells, and biofuel (except us non-Christians, of course) are out. Is hell supporting terrorism by buying fuel from contries that hate us? So is hell going to burn out when we run out of fossil fuels?

They have trilithium crystals and antimatter reactors.
Or is that Star Trek - I can never tell them apart.

Is this really a question or are you trying to make a point? Hell fire is supposed to be supernatural- the fuel that keeps it burning is God's wrath- i dont think it's going to be a environmentally friendly place- if you believe in hell and an afterlife then this is plausible- oh and the lakes of burning sulphur I suppose sulphur is a fuel? Gahenna was a rubbish dump so I suppose that could also be a referrence to a fuel. We'll see when we get there...

Hell is real....but to answer question it is a spiritual issue.
I beleive that we need understand that it is an unending fire that does not consume the fuel but inflicts heat and pain on the soul. The concept must ...for us Christians....be backed up by a Biblical example. In Exodus 3 we read the story of the burning bush that wass"not consumed" by the fire.
However, I will say this, if you do not have the faith and belief in such a place my explanation will not hold water because we need to belive and have faith in the thing we believe.
In short there is no present day scientific answer to your question, so in that sense we should and " I don't know how."
But as a Christian...My answer is near enough! You will burn on entry and for the duration of enterinity if that s you destination.

Hell will keep burning until Hell freezes over...err...wait...um.
Constant importation of evil souls keeps Hell well stocked for eternal combustion. As the population is increasing, Hell is in a better position than ever. Satan doesn't even have to buy souls anymore. There are enough heathens that deny God to keep him in business for a long time. He is a bit worried about this second coming, though, so he's started a stockpile and is pursuing a Uranium enrichment facility.

Maybe a big nuclear reactor? Or maybe Satan has a forest behind his house. Either way, it's gonna run out eventually and then all the damned are gonna complain that they're cold. And then it will be "a cold day in hell". Some weird things are going to happen that day...

Yo! Hell, like heaven, is not of earth. You will not have your human body. When you die it rots in a coffin (or it turns into ashes when they cremate you). The lake of fire is not for the body. It is for the soul.
