Put dogs on the coolest part of the grill (outside edge of the coals). Also, move the grate of the grill all the way up to avoid burned black spots. You don't have to split them, but you might want to poke a couple of holes with a fork so that they don't explode and get that fan-tailed look to them. Only cook them long enough for them to plump and be warm...this keeps all the juices in. Hope this helps!

Okay ...I must start with a Hamburger, medium with pickles lettuce, tomato and red onions. Then after a cold one, and a sunset, I'll take a hot dog with chili. Merci!
