Slavery, murder and discrimination based on just about any possible trait.

I take it you are of the Islamic religion. Christians DO NOT BELIEVE IN SLAVERY! You have the wrong idea much like we MIGHT have the wrong idea about Islam. I hear that in Islam women are considered objects to be owned, slaves, and it's OK to rape a 4 year old girl and not be charged with the crime that it is. Islam's god says to kill those who don't believe in Mohammad so terrorists go on a slaughter campaign.

You see, we hear things about Islam that make us think it's a terrible cult. You say you hear things about Christians that make you think it's a terrible cult. But the smartest thing to do is to sit down like civilized people and talk about our beliefs and get things straight. Killing is not the answer. Suicide Bombing is NOT the answer.

Don't you agree?

Look the Christianity that you see from time to time is not what Christ envisioned, many are getting it wrong and doing no favours to themselves or others, you cannot throw the baby out with the bath-water just because of dysfunctional Christians, the essence of Christianity is Jesus Himself and so Christianity is not going away no matter how much some people may make a mess of it, it is much better to look to those who are sincere and honest in thier Christian walk and ignore the sham of holier than thou Christians.

Try checking the plank in your eye before you point out the splinter in your neighbour's.

We are all slaves:
Slaves of society.
Slaves of the government.
Slaves of our peers.
Slaves to our own instincts.
Slaves to the species.
Slaves to our fates.
Slaves of the Universe.

Death is the only freedom.

Are you really so surprised that christianity promotes slavery?

Meh. I don't. I would rather give freedom to everyone... cut away all the shackles that hold them.... carve out the shackles of life and free them to the Nihil.

Hey, although it is true that we are trying to promote our faith, but really, it more than just being a dutiful Christian. Rather, we want to see you together with us in heaven! I rather believe that there is a heaven than to fall into hell and regret it.

Christians arent into slavery. God gives us commandments to protect us. Its the same theory for the Government to give laws. The government implimented strict traffic rules to prevent us from killing ourselves on a freeway. Although there are things God has told us beforehand not to do it, I believe He has His reasons for asking us to do so. Besides, all He wants is to protect His beloved.

The Quran not only allows slaves, but explicitly gives the slave-owner the right to have sex with them. There were no Muslim abolitionists because slavery is deeply ingrained in the religion. In fact, the Quran has more to say about enjoying sex with slaves than it does about several of the five pillars of Islam.

Mohammed owned and traded slaves. He commanded that women and children be taken as slaves in battle, and allowed them to be raped after capture. His followers continued the practice for centuries until it was forced to an end in most regions by European armies.

Unfortunately, slavery still persists in dark corners of the Muslim world today, such as Niger, the Sudan, and Mauritania. And, most tellingly, none of the articles by contemporary Muslim apologists (giving their religion retroactive credit for abolition) even bother to address the subject of modern slavery, much less condemn it.

On November 23, 1937, Saudi Arabia's King Ibn Saud told British Colonel H.R.P. Dickson: "Our hatred for the Jews dates from God's condemnation of them for their persecution and rejection of Isa (Jesus) and their subsequent rejection of His chosen Prophet."

He added "that for a Muslim to kill a Jew, or for him to be killed by a Jew ensures him an immediate entry into Heaven and into the august presence of God Almighty."
