for years, people have turned to the military to straighten out or find a new path. ordinarily, i'd say let him try but not now. it's a death sentence. somehow, he needs to realize that though he may not see it now, the future holds something special for him. does he have family that could help? how about more friends like you that care about him. maybe all get together and brainstorm with him. between all of you i'm sure you can come up with an idea or two. let him know how important he is to all of you and ask him to wait a while longer before making a desicion that huge. snap desicions can be very harmful. best of luck.

Hey Lee

Tell your friend this

1) There is more to life than to get yourself killed for an a******* of a president.

2) Brooding about Where / How did it go wrong is not gonna help him move on, Everything happens for a reason. Remember, God answers our prayers but sometimes the answer is NO.

3) Has he been on talking terms with his family? That is what he needs right now. Some family moral support.

4) Tell your friend that moving to another country will not help him to solve his problems, in fact he will bring his problems along until he chooses to deal and getover it.

5) As a friend you can help him to talk his problems out or rather find a way to get him to move on. Get him hooked with some activities that would keep him happy.

Just my 2 cents advise.
