I was wondering if it was just me. I got a number of thumbs down on things that completely confused me. I'll admit not all of my answers were as well thought out as I'd like, but geez, was I really that bad?
It doesn't really bother me if it's just me, but it sucks to hear about everyone else.
Addendum: In retrospect, I am partially to blame. When I see an obviously ignorant and/or incorrect answer ("tattoos give you AIDS!"), I tend to give it a thumbs down. It's wrong to spread this disinformation. People do base their decisions on what they research online, and I feel we have an obligation to point out provably wrong assertions. I apologize to those affected if my actions here caused them strife.

I've noticed lately since I've come back here I get at least one thumbs down nearly every question I answer, usually pretty quickly. I wondered about it but it doesn't really bother me. It can be a bit annoying if you say something similar to somebody else and they don't get one when you do but that's not really what's happening here at this time. I think it's coinciding with the trolls from other sections who've suddenly popped up with the usual NASCAR-fans-are-uneducated-rednecks attitude, though I couldn't prove that.

I think you'll have fun re: not getting inked this weekend though...hope you catch lots of fish.

Blair ( s... I am the guy that got the ta too in question, on shaft,this is to those who don't understand how anyone could get it their, I am a hard core marine I also have pop_eye and olive oil down there she says OH POP-EYE,HE IS eating spinach out of a open can.their just out of my spinach patch.TOO EACH IS OWN,I say if anyone can deal with the pain that should get a ta-too if they want.
