I am a 36 yr old female, 118 lbs after a meal. My frame is very thin and lanky. i am affraid to exercise for fear of losing. i need to know of ways to gain--foods with lots of calories-not just fastfoods-I don't have a weight machine-will not go to gym. how can I curve up nicely and get sculpted at the same time? I am not toned, my butt is sagging(what little there is) how can I build it up and tighten tummy but get some shapely legs too

Simple, eat healthy and exercise. Exercise won't make you lose weight if you still eat more calories than you burn, which you'll need if you're thin and looking to build fat and muscle.

You'll have to lift those weights, do some cardio, and eat more. Not just health foods, but just more. You get to be one of those people that can exercise and indulge in ice cream, which is great.

5-6 meals a day, which is breakfast, lunch, dinner and a couple snacks. If you find you're losing weight(keep a journal) then you need to eat more.

Oh as for shapely legs, try squats and lunges, they work great.

Here is a great program intended for women on how to transform them via diet and excercise into a very fit shapely contest possible shape.

And for most people that use hardgainer is just a word they use. Heck i used it too. Eating 2-3 times a day and not gaining weight is not the sign of a hardgainer. Eating 5-6 full meals a day with loads of protien carbs and healthy fats and still making no progess is a hardgainer.

My advice in terms of diet even thoguh they may not be in the article is to eat caloricly dense foods ie: peanut butter, oatmeal, pasta, these worked in throughout the day will help you gain weight.
