A few weeks ago I proposed to my girlfriend and she said "yes". That's the happiest I've been in the last year or so.

I don't think there is a "truly" happy. Happiness is an emotion that we experience to varying degrees. I think you can ask when you've been more happy or less happy, but not "truly" happy. Happiness is just not defined well enough to be able to set a strict measure to it.

Happiness is a state of mind my friend. I was truly happy last night, shooting darts with my friends.

There are people in the world in dire states, starvation and disease that find ways to be happy, it never ceases to amaze me. Try and focus on the things that really matter to you.

If you are too focused on the drab and bad things in life, it will weigh you down like a brick and you will end up drowning in self pity. It happens to so many people.

You also might want to try volunteering at a local shelter, or joining a charitable group like the Elks or Moose or even the Masons. Giving of your time to help others has always helped me get a sense of accomplishment and value.

When I see my efforts come to frutition. Indeed, I am happy during a final if I'm doing well, or if I studied hard enough. Also, when I'm on the verge of starting up any plans I want, I am overactive, and often play some kickass songs while I'm working in preparation.

When I decided to start applying Laveyan Satanism to my life, and reliased I was not there just to make every OTHER bugger happy.

I am sorry you are not happy. Perhaps you need to take some time out and decide what to do for yourself?

The last time I was truely happy was when I was working on my book and then it was published. I was doing what God asked me to do and it became a joy as I worked on the research and delved into the Word to back up what I was learning.
