If the report isn't lively. Open GIF report in photoshop and than bypass to report>save For internet, and than say ok and supply distinctive filename. If lively GIF report is save to JPEG the animation would be destroyed. you could not convert lively gif report format to jpeg report format.

You can use Paint. Just go to Save As and make the file type a jpeg.

Paint.NET: http://www.getpaint.net/
GNU Image Manipulation Program: http://gimp.org/
IrfanView: http://www.irfanview.com/
ImageMagick: http://imagemagick.org/ (command line and very sciptable, so great for making changes to lots of images at once, but has a relatively tough learning curve)

However, GIF is a format that is very good for low colour images with large areas of solid colour, while JPEG is good for photograph type images. You are likely to lose quality when converting between those formats (since you get the worst of both worlds).

Its very simple. You can even use the basic paint program that came with your computer. All you have to do is open up the picture in paint and then click, file, save as and at the bottom of that pop up screen, under file name it says "save as type" click on that to find the type you are looking for. Save it and you are done!
