I will say the chicken - because God created all living things and an egg is not living - it is just delicious with toast and bacon.

neither chickens evolved from the dinosaurs, dinosaurs evolved from under water creatures under water creatures evolved from little worm like creatures that don't lay eggs(they have babies the other way) so the scientific answer(in my opion) is neither
