I am a 16 year old junior and next year when i graduate i want to join the mariens but there's this girl and I have been waiting a long time for her to move down and she finally is this summer to go to college not to far from here. Should I go ahead and join the mariens if we do start dating again or should i check into something else? i luv her to death and want to make her happy but i've also always wanted to join, and if it takes doing something else with my life then thats what i'll do. What would you want your b/f to do?

i wouldnt want him to join...my boyfirend actually thought about it and it was hard for me but then he decided that he would just go ahead and be a police officer instead of joinin...and my friend's b/f is a marine and she hardly ever gets to see him...so if u wanna she her and spend time with her and everythin then dont join and find somethin else.

Join the mariens what ever that is. Or stay at school and learn how to spell.

1. You're not her boyfriend, 2. When you're 17 she'll be in college with a bunch of older guys around. 3. You shouldn't structure your life and goals around a potential girlfriend especially at your age.
When I was your age, and I had my first gf I thought it was really special too. But we broke up and I was sad and missed her, but I went to college, and met dozens and dozens of sexy girls, and came to realize, that one goes and another one comes into your life. And that's how it's going to be for you too. You may think she's really special but if you go out with her and break up in a few months another one will come along who you think is special. Don't jeopardize your future or goals for her, or anyone else.

I wouldn't want my b/f to go to the Marines because I would barely get to see him and plus there would be no point of us even being together if I can't be with him when I want to be with him. And why would you do that to her after you've been waiting for her to move down there with you and more than likely she would feel the same. Ask her.
