All humans have to evolve to higher spiritual level for God realisation .But what purpose will it serve if there is no internal change in the heart of human beings.
Instead of accepting the Supreme power who is called God ,and which is the root of all religions, every religion has developed their own models for God, (like different languages) to suit their needs and deviated from spirituality, leading to this chaos and conflict.
The development of universal brotherhood beyond all barriers of religions , caste , creeds , nationalities can pave the way to God realisation.

God realisation is a distant end. Let us speak of self realisation. When every one starts looking inwardly into himself and starts questioning where from he has come, that day god realisation will commence.

People can realize God when they surrender to Him. God is not obliged to be at the beck and call of everyone, even though He is eagerly trying to help everyone out. He helps everyone out by making it clear that we should get OUT of this material world and come back to His Kingdom, back to our eternal happy home.

In general, not only God, but any higher being's presence can be understood or realized or verified individually only by the sweet will of that person. Say I want to meet the President of a country, I can't just order him to come to me saying, "If you do exist, show yourself to me at my home on ___ date at ___ time." He is not really eager to prove his existence to you as he is the President of his country. Similarly it is with God. Let's cooperate with God in order to make ourselves happy and relieved in service to Him, and consequentially serve all living beings.
