hi yeh she will be pregnant dont worry about it though i noticed the first person to answer the question slagged you off a bit which is un-neccessary they also said to go to the vet but their is no need for this unless your dog seems in pain. my dog got pregnant but i caught her in the act so knew she was and i never took her to the vet then at half six one morning i thught my baby was crying so i got up, realised the noise was down stairs and found two puppies on my kitchen floor and one in the dog bed, i left the mother to it and she came over and collected the two pups from the floor placing them in the bed with the other one, i was surprised she had them because she wasnt due for another 10 days and thought it was weird she only had 3. i made a cup of tea and watched tv went back to check on my dog and there was another 2 pups in the bed, after getting dressed and waking my baby up another two pups had appeared so i had seven pups and an hour later my dog was fine so i took her for the small walk (5 minutes)you are meant to do this after your dog has pups as it gets her milk flowing so all pups can feed. then another pup popped out so we had 8 pups all together and although some were tiny compared to the others they all survived and i never went to the vet once, although if your dog still seems in pain more than an hour after the birth you should go to the vet in case there has been a complication, good luck

I'd also suggest you take her to the vet so that you know for sure.
Swollen nipples & a change in personality are big factors to suggest to me that she is pregnant. Once a dog is later on in a pregnancy you can feel their tummy for movement & will be able to feel individual pups kick.
But still take her the vet, after all it could be a phantom pregnancy.
Also check out the net for help & advice when my cat got pregnant I found the net to be a god send! :D Goodluck!

why does everyone have to be so nasty. this person has bred two german shepherd and will prob take her to the vet anyway yet came on here for a bit of friendly advice.. i would say yes she is in pup but depending on how she is carrying the puppies you wont see for definate until she is around 6 weeks. although vets can do ultra soung from 4weeks and this only costs around £40. they should be able to give you a rough estimate on puppies but saying that on our ultra sound the vet said about 3 puppies and we had 5. just be prepared to lose at least one puppy. as we did.

when a dog is in there heat cycle in the first 5 to 12 days she will have a thin bloody discharge. this is the time that she attracts the male with the scent. this is called Proestrus.she is NOT fertile during this time. The genital discharge will turn a dark brown and will thicken This is the time they call Estrus it lasts for about 7 to 9 days, she will be fertile and want to breed. If he breed her during this time! CONGRATULATIONS!! you are gonna be a grandma!! LOL I think if you get Veterinary help it would help you and the dog ALOT!! Thats what they are there for. and if ya cant afford it. contact your local humaine society.they may know someone who can help you.

i'm unsure concerning to the regulations or if there are any, yet a canine must be in warmth to be pregnant. How previous replaced into the different canine and replaced into she even in warmth? i don't think of you will possibly desire to might desire to pay for the canine to get spayed. Vets do not oftentimes prefer to spay canine in warmth besides. So that is not likely that if the canine replaced into in warmth that it would be getting spayed day after on the instant. till now you do pay for the spay get some extra records.

We have no way of telling, only your vet can do that by testing her. Get her vaccinations and worming up to date while you're there as thats the only immunity the pups get for the first 8 weeks.

It sounds like your b i t c h is pregnant!
What are you doing?????????
German Shepherds are not a breed for amateurs to keep much less breed!
One if not both SHOULD have been 'doctored' before the b i t c h was 6 months old!
I hope there is no close relationship between the two as this can cause deformity in the pups!
Keep the dog away from her as she will defend herself and the pups from him!

you seriously have to ask? good thing you bred a litter of mutts having no idea what you are doing! maybe you should take her into a VET so she doesn't die giving birth since you haven't a clue what you are doing. ugh.
