Maybe because the US still stands for true freedom for all and we have the wisdom to know that not one other country has the means to help others that we have. It is unwise to call anyone a fool, BTW. If you are a person of color maybe you should remember that the USA is a generous benfactor of ANy nation on Earth that needs help.

Not sure what country you speak of, but... when I served my 15 yrs in the US Navy, I served with thousands of "European" immigrants... who were serving to work towards their citizenship.
An Irishman, 5 Russians, 3 Spaniards, 2 Brits, a German, a Lituanian, an Italian, 2 Finns, and 4 French... those were the men / ladies I worked with DIRECTLY... and doesn't count the dozens of Filippinos and Hispanics (non-US Citizens) serving to speed citizenship.
Sorry, but the VAST majority of europeans WAIT in line with the State Department to immigrate... we do it LEGALLY.

They were the Freedom Fighters who won the Liberation of Freedom for the good of mankind back in the past from wolrd war two in planet of apes.
They were the ones who led and guided the survivors with their children to walked out to their Freedom back in the past in planet of apes.
