In most cases, there are differences between siblings, sometimes its a good thing, and in others not so good. I come from a family of five and the oldest. My one brother died at a young age, and my younger brother is always trying to help me and my husband out with monetary or food gifts. My two younger sisters have always ganged up on me when growing up, and still to this day, they continued with the same ole senario of "get Snoot." I decided some time ago, that it was best to part ways than continue on with the childish games. I don't really like it this way, but I have serenity. I am different from my sisters in that I have a list of illnesses, not afforded all the means in comparison, highly enthusiastic, have a close, warm relationship with all my four kids, attained a successful career, and well liked by most people. The ways we are alike is that we have stable marriages, overtly generous, suffered incest, beatings, and verbal abuse together, life trained in observing body language in others, and love to cook , garden, and sew.

I am the responsible and rational one. I plan ahead and do things in the right order. I balance everything whereas my siblings are opposite. My older sister is a free spirit and very feministic, Im the middle kid (we were 5), then theres my younger sister who is religious and stays at home unemployed and my younger brother is the creative one of the lot. Although we are different we all fuse together well and the differences we have makes it fun.

I was raised by my mother and step father and my brothers were raised by my father and step mother. The difference between us is that I go for the gusto. Do things in order, have a relationship, get a house, get married, have children (eventually) and my brothers let their so called friends walk all over them and they have nothing. They moved back with us when they were in their late teens and now they are in their late 30's and nothing has changed. My eldest brother has three children, across the country, and my middle brother has literally nothing! He works like a dog, makes good money (drives long haul). My father divorced, and the same...lets people (esp) women walk all over him, he also now has nothing. I am more outspoken whereas my brothers hide it all inside. And then complain later, like someone should have read their minds. Big difference between us.

I have one brother. I am a girl. He is gay and I'm not. He has brown hair, I have blond. He is super tall, I'm not. He went to college, I didn't. He moved to a different city than the one he was raised in, I didn't. He's a city boy, I'm a small town girl. He is bi-polar, I'm not. He looks like my mom, I look like my dad. He is skinnier than me and will NEVER gain a pound. He has problems spending money, I don't. I'm nicer than him. I'm more patient than him. I have more respect than him. I love my brother very much and we also have a lot in common.

My middle sister is a lot more charming than I am. Loves social settings.
And my older bro is the "responsible" one.
We are all totally different.

i'm the non-conformist of the family. my older bro took a lot of wrong turns and is paying for it with his health now. my little bro sees the world through rose colored glasses and loves to drop names. my sister was the brain and everyones favorite.she was the only one of us who took after my mom. kind, patient, and a good listener. i'm just me. i march to the beat of a different drummer.

I'm the loud, obnoxious, spoiled brat; the baby of the family. My brother is mellow, extremely religious, and thinks he's perfect.
